Let's recap....Seems like yesterday I posted this picture to announce that we were having a baby.
My belly grew from this....
To this!! You were born less than a week after I took this picture.
Then seeing you for the first time.... I had so much love for you! 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 inches long. Such a beautiful baby. There are of course parts of pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum that are not fun. But it's kind of nice that Heavenly Father sort of helps us "forget" those things and focus on what matters most... YOU. You are worth it Jayney girl!! Your dad and I love you so much!!

The other day we did a photoshoot with Jayne. Thomas took them and Stephen helped. I thought they turned out so cute!
Jayney girl! You are like a toddler now! I see newborns and you seem so far from that stage (yet you are a small girl!) Your personality is so fun and exciting. We love seeing your face light up, hearing your adorable laugh, and watching you learn new things. You have especially grown up in the last month! Here are some things about you...
*You are walking! All over! It is hilarious watching you. You look too small to walk! (There are 4 month old babies that are bigger than you... haha)
*You can go from sitting to standing now!
*I love watching your face when you are concentrating on toys... it's such a cute serious look :)
*You know how to blow kisses! You don't do it all the time though. Just when you want ;)
*Speaking of when you want... That describes you to a T haha. You have your own timing for everything. You do things your own way!
*You love to clap!
*Looking at books is one of your FAVORITE things! You will sit and look at them by yourself for a long time. One of your favorite books to look at is ones with animals. When I ask where the dog is, you point to the dog. Smart girl!
*We are working on animal sounds... You mostly just look at me like I'm a crazy person when I ask you what a sheep says haha
*You can say mama, dada, and dog (can you tell you love dogs??). Oh and you started to nod your head and say "yeah" haha
*You LOVE taking things out of boxes. Toys, books, laundry, shoes, whatever it is, if it's in a box/basket, you will take it out.
*Playing with/being around your cousins makes you so happy! You are such a social girl.
*In the afternoons we are almost always out of the house doing something to keep you happy! You like to get out and do things! Which I'm fine with because I'm the same way. You get so bored if we are home all day!
*You have the best smile. Everyone comments on your cute dimples :) Oh and you have 8 teeth!
*You are wearing size 3 diapers, and usually size 6-9 month clothes but you are starting to fit into some 12 month stuff! Yay! You are between size 1 and 2 shoes.
*You take 2 naps a day (usually 1.5 hours each) and you go to bed between 7-8 and wake up anytime between 6-7! Sometimes (if we're lucky) you will nurse and go back to sleep a little longer if you wake up at 6, but usually that doesn't happen.... Which I'm not the biggest fan of you waking up at 6... But at least you don't wake up in the night (for the most part)!
*You love to eat! Some of your favorite foods are: pb&j sandwiches, strawberries, cherries, mandarin oranges, cheese, and oatmeal.
*Only nursing twice a day. I'm starting to give you cow's milk during the day but you aren't the biggest fan.... Hopefully you start liking it soon!
*You love to sing songs!
*And play peek-a-boo with daddy!
*You like when I am next to you while you're playing... I hardly get anything done during the day because you like me to always be by you!
*I can't do the dishes when you are awake because you try and eat the soap and take the dishes out...
*You get into EVERYTHING! So naughty! You are very curious about everything around you.
*You like to try to talk to Siri on my phone haha
*You like to hit people and grab hair....
*One of the things that makes you laugh the most is when I crawl on the ground and chase after you and then tickle you. It's so funny watching you walk when you're trying to get away because you get too excited and you try to walk too fast so then you fall haha.

One good thing about summer is being able to be in the water! Jayne loves going to the splash pad and swimming!

In Thomas' family we get together once a month on Sunday and celebrate all the birthdays for that month, so Jayne got to celebrate a little early! It was good practice ;)

Busted!! So naughty! It was actually really sad because she cried so hard when this happened because the noise scared her so bad haha. She is so sensitive!

We had our first official FHE lesson with a coloring page and everything haha. Jayne learned she is a child of God and colored the picture ;)
We go to Target quite often.... That's what happens when it is around the corner from you and you have a child that gets so bored at home!

I started watching two girls three days a week. They are so adorable and Jayne loves them! I love how she pointed to both of them haha.
