29 Weeks

I am now 29 weeks pregnant! My body, baby, and belly are all changing by the week. I'm pretty sure Jayne has been sideways the past couple days. It seems like it at least, and I'm almost positive, because she will push way on one side of my belly, and way on the other side at the same time. And let me tell you, it isn't the most comfortable thing! Jayne is getting to be so strong! Another new thing has been hiccups! I have felt her have hiccups before probably like a month ago, but now she seems to have them all the time. It is a funny feeling :)
At my appointment last week I took my glucose test. Welllll.... I got a call on Monday from my doctor saying my results weren't so good. She said I would have to come back for more testing. I went yesterday morning and had to be there for a little over 3 hours. Not fun! I went in, they got a tube of blood from me, then I drank the glucose drink, and then got another tube of blood drawn from me after each hour for 3 hours. I sat at the doctor's office just listening to people's conversations, watched Monsters Inc. two times (they had it playing in the waiting room), tried to read a book, and basically sat there really bored. It wouldn't have been too bad if I hadn't felt so lightheaded! The first hour was the worst. After that it got better. I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything, so that's why I felt like I was going to pass out. I wasn't even allowed to lie down. I am definitely glad I got that over with! Hopefully my results come back better this time after these tests. If not, then it's ok. I will just have to be on a strict diet to keep baby girl and I healthy.
Now for some pictures! Mostly pictures of baby stuff, but other random things as well.

Recap of making Jayne's room! It started out yellow... we painted it gray!
I never got a before picture of this dresser.... but it was a light wood color. We spray painted it white.
And once we got the bedding for the crib, we matched the knobs on the drawers to the bedding!

This swing is like my favorite. Thanks to my sister-in-law, Kelley, for giving it to us!
My mom bought this burp cloth for me once we found out we were having a girl :) so cute!
I know these pictures are in a random order... I'm too frustrated to rearrange them haha. I babysat these kids like 2 weeks ago and they were obsessed with me being pregnant. They thought it was the coolest thing! They loved watching my belly move like jello when Jayne moved and they loved feeling her kick. It was so cute.
 Before picture of the lamp....
The bedding came with a window valence, and I knew I wasn't going to use it (I'm going to make curtains soon) so I cut it up and used it to put on the lamp!
I knew I would need a little extra fabric to cover the lamp, so I also used this cream color fabric that matched (plus I already had it... score!)
Super super easy... I just started at the bottom and hot glued the fabric down.
I'm so happy with how it turned out! I love the color it adds to the room.

We also bought wood letters at Hobby Lobby and used the spray paint for the drawer knobs and used this tape stuff to put them on the wall! I LOVE it!
This lady on a Facebook group was selling this canvas for 5 bucks! It matches the room so well and is adorable. Score.
I don't have a before picture... but this dresser used to be black but we painted it white and also painted the knobs to match.
This is my FAVORITE part of the room. The chair is so so so comfy (I'm sitting in it right now as I type this) and I love love love the bookshelf and books. By the way my husband painted that picture of the Gilbert Temple.... he is so talented!! He's painting it for his brother, but he hasn't been in the painting mood for quite a while so for now it is sitting here until he finishes it haha.
Ok... are they not the cutest?? I started teaching these little girls dance 2-3 months ago. They had their performance on Saturday night and did so good! I love their costumes.... so freaking adorable.
This was my second year being an assistant at a preschool. I LOVE IT! I will miss these kids as they go off to kindergarten. I am excited, though, that I will still be helping next year (just for the morning class 3 days a week) and I'm so grateful my mom is going to watch my baby for me!

Just another picture to show what I do all the time... look down at this belly! I know it's not huge, but it feels big to me! One of my favorite things to do is watch her move around.
I love cereal... I always have, but this pregnancy has made me OBSESSED. I eat 2 bowls a day at least. One for breakfast, and one before I go to bed.
One of my preschool kids got my this spa kit for an end of the year gift, and it came with this inflatable bath thing. Haha so awesome. I love it
Me and my cute little dancers at their performance!
Belly button is popped out! Not a ton, but it's poking out a little! So weird...
This is my cute niece Paige. I babysat her yesterday for a little bit. She had fun playing with toys in Jayne's room :)
Then I read her a story and she fell fast asleep. So precious.
This baby already has so many clothes...
And I've already been given some diapers! Score.
I love the little socks, shoes, and headbands! So so so cute.
 More clothes...
Thomas painted this picture when he was in 5th grade! I love it! His mom found it and put it in a frame for us, and snuck over and found the green spray paint to match the room and painted it for us. I love it! I'm excited to put it up!
There is a group on Facebook where people are just giving things away for free, and I found this! It's seriously in almost perfect condition! It was super dirty, but I hosed it off and it is perfect. Yay! It will be nice to have a backup stroller.
Closer look at the crib bedding. I think it is so pretty! Perfect for a baby and a toddler.

28 Weeks

I'm 28 weeks now! 12 weeks (hopefully a little less...) until Jayne is here! Today I had a doctor's appointment and had my glucose test and an ultrasound. The drink (for the glucose test) was not bad at all... it just tasted like normal fruit punch to me haha. I'm either weird or just not picky because some people dread having to drink it. The ultrasound was not as cool as I thought it would be... Baby girl was curled up and hiding her face the whole time! She is 2 lbs. 11 oz.
After the ultrasound I met with my doctor. She said that she noticed that Jayne's head circumference was lower than normal for her size. She said it's not too much of a concern yet, though. But of course now I'm super worried... I'll have another ultrasound the end of June to see if her measurements are better.
I've definitely started feeling more pregnant lately. I get out of breath so easy and I feel light headed quite a bit. Headaches are also happening more often (probably because it's getting hotter) so I'm trying to drink tons of water. Other than that I don't really have any complaints. I know I am just going to get bigger and get more uncomfortable, but it's nice to know that I don't even have that long before she's here.
I have so much to look forward to! This week is my last week of work (bittersweet... I will miss my preschool kids so much!) It will be nice to relax for the summer and finish getting ready for Jayne to join our family, but that also means I will have basically nothing to do! Her room is almost all the way done (I need to post pics on here soon) which I LOVE. Her room is my favorite. I go and sit in there all the time. It makes me so happy! I am excited to deep clean our little house this summer and get things really organized. Another thing I am looking forward to is my sister and her little girl Payton are coming the beginning of next month! That will be so fun to spend time with them :) Payton is the cutest and I miss her so much. While they are here I am having my baby shower, so I am of course stoked for that. Thomas and I are probably going to register in a week or two... that will be exciting :)
Overall things are going great with Thomas and I. He is starting to do some more videos for companies, so it's been nice to save a little more money. .I love hearing Thomas talk about what it will be like when Jayne is here. He really will be the cutest dad... I can't wait. Almost every night he tells me how excited he is for his little girl to be here and to hold her. It kills me every time. I just love hearing him be excited. He has a hard time around other kids.... so I have always been a little worried. He knows it will be a million times different though with Jayne, because she is OURS. I could go on and on about how excited we are....

I love her cute little hand covering her face in this picture haha

Maternity Pictures! 27 Weeks

Our awesome wedding photographer, Kara Barratt, took our maternity pictures. We wanted to take them asap before it got super hot! It was perfect weather when we took them, and the location ROCKED. I'm so happy with how these turned out! She is so fun to work with. We had such a great time. And thanks to pinterest so I could find cute poses :)

I hope Jayne looks like her daddy. He is such a stud!

I'm like 27.5 weeks pregnant now! Jayne is over 2 pounds now and is like 14 inches long (according to pregnancy books....). I'm excited for my doctor's appointment a week from tomorrow, because I get to have another ultrasound! I feel like I have been spoiled with ultrasounds and I love it haha. Seeing her makes my day!

Our good friends Dayton and Ali Jones just had their baby girl! She is so so precious... and I am so so jealous haha. Seeing pictures of her is making me incredibly baby hungry! I know that I still need to get ready to have her (childbirth class, have my baby shower, get more baby things, etc) but I can't help but want her here already!

Jayne has been getting so big lately. Thomas and I are in awe watching my stomach move... it looks like jello. Her movements are getting stronger and harder. They have been getting more painful, too. As well as having leg cramps in the middle of the night. But I don't care. I love this process! I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love feeling her move, even if it hurts me a little, because that means she is healthy and growing :)
