7 Months

Jayne is 7 months now! Well, technically on the 30th but there isn't a 30th of this month...
I love this little munchkin. She really is little... she has been able to fit in the same clothes for a few months now haha. She is a little over 14 lbs now! Skinny skinny girl Let's see... here are some new things as of lately:

*She loves to use her pointer finger when she touches things. She also sucks on that finger sometimes, or chews on her thumb. Not very often though.
*She claps! Not on purpose I don't think... She just randomly does it. And sometimes it's just one hand hitting the other, not like hitting them both together at the same time if that makes sense haha. It's so cute!
*She says "ba ba ba" all the time! She just started making that sound a few days ago. It's adorable because she makes such a cute face when she does it. Her cheeks kind of go in and you can see her dimples super good. It's so funny.
*Still does the "Jayne pose" I call it like 24/7 (when she goes on her side)
*Sticks her tongue out all day long basically haha
*Scoots forward like crazy! And rolls around still. She will randomly get up on all fours, but hardly ever. She has figured out her own way of getting to things, and she's getting really good at it!
*Is starting to really be a momma's girl....
*Loves to be a big girl sitting in the grocery cart. She loves seeing everything. She makes lots of friends at the grocery store. She loves to smile at strangers
*Is getting cuter every day ;)

Peek-a-boo! Look at those blue eyes. Holy moley.
The "Jayne pose"! The other day she was up a little bit on her elbow on her side and had her legs up in the air kind of a lot and help it for like 10 seconds! haha it was hilarious! What a silly girl.
We love Freestone Park! And we love picnics and pizza :)

 Oh my gosh those cheeks!
Check out those little teeth! And she's showing her yummy food haha. Banana I think?

Sucking on her pointer finger and looking cute in her little dress and shoes!

So we picked a leaf off of the tree in the front yard and I let her play with it. It seriously kept her occupied for 20 minutes! She was just sitting and rolling around the floor playing with this leaf. I kept the pacifier in so she wouldn't eat it haha.
 Sleeping babies are so precious.
 Loves to point at things!
Jayney girl and her friend, Brynlee, love to play!
And pull on each other and take their pacifiers haha.

She discovered her ears. Luckily she hasn't tried to pull on her earrings!
Headbands hardly last now. She pulls them down and eats them haha
 Cute girl wearing daddy's hat!
The poses she does sometimes are so nuts!
I call this her In-N-Out outfit because of the red and white. And pretend the flowers are palm trees ;)
She discovered drawers and that they are fun to open... Until she gets stuck haha.
We have loved playing outside in the beautiful weather!

 Turtle bum!

hahaha this picture kills me. She is holding a plastic toy ketchup bottle. She would NOT let go of it! It was hilarious. She had such a firm grip on it for like an hour no joke. And look at that face. She means business. No messing with her! haha
Welp, Jayne has been sick and it is NO FUN! Seriously, saddest thing. Babies should not be allowed to get sick. I have been using essential oils like crazy trying to help her! I ended up taking her to the doctor after it seemed like things were getting worse. She had an ear infection so she got on antibiotics. She also is super congested and has a cough :( Hearing her cough is so sad! It sounds so painful, especially for a little baby. Poor girl. I can't wait until she's 100% better!

Check out this sweet set up haha. Since she's so congested it's not very good to have her sleep flat, so I put her car seat in her crib, laid a blanket over it, and put pillows next to her in case she gets out somehow. Also I have a diffuser going with Breath essential oil to help her :)
How cute is this! Sam is so good with her. What a good cousin.
Her binky was in upside down haha. Apparently she didn't really care.

This sweet girl is getting more fun every day!

Valentine's Day

We had such a fun Valentine's Day! In the afternoon we made (bought them from the store and put them on the pan...) red velvet cookies with cream cheese pieces and visited with Thomas' brother James and his wife Julie at my in law's house. They have 2 cute kids, Josie and Jason. Josie gave us a cute little valentine she made. It was adorable. That night our friend Megan babysat Jayne! She volunteered because her boyfriend and our good friend, Brian, was out of town. So nice of her :) Thomas and I headed to Texas Roadhouse. The wait was over an hour! But we really wanted it, and we knew pretty much anywhere else would be super crowded as well, so we decided to walk around the stores there while we waited. We ended up buying Thomas some really good smelling cologne at Bath and Body Works! For a really good price, too. I never even knew they had cologne there. The time flew by as we were just having fun talking and walking around the stores. We ordered steak and the chicken critters and it was soooooo yummy. And of course I ate like a million rolls... :) After dinner, we drove over to like McDowell and the 202 area and hiked this hill. It took us like 15 minutes or so to get to the top. It was awesome once we got up there. There were just a few other people up there. We brought a blanket and just laid down and looked at the stars, talked, kissed, and enjoyed the amazing view and nice weather. It was the best! I love my husband. I'm so grateful that we have so much fun together and that he really is my best friend.

The only picture I took that night...

Donelle, Nick and Payton Come to Visit!

We have had a fun 2 weeks with Donelle, Nick and Payton! I love when they come to visit. I am so sad they left! Boo. Hopefully me, Jayne and my mom will go visit them soon :)

We had a lot of fun with them! Pretty much every day Jayne and I would go over there (they were at my parents house) after she took her morning nap. We mostly just hung out at the house, but we did some fun things! Pretty much all of it revolves around food... haha. That's how my family is :) Everything is about food! We went to Oregano's one night, In-N-Out quite a few times (Nick and Donelle, but especially Nick, are obsessed with In-N-Out. They went literally 9 or 10 times when they were here!) walked around the Gilbert Temple, played volleyball in my parents backyard, went to Bahama Bucks and Fro Yo, and probably more places. It's always fun spending time with my sis! Oh and also we went to Manic Monday twice, and she taught one of the times. It rocked! I love taking class from her. She is like pro. Now for some pics!

Playing with tons of toys at Grandma's!
Ok seriously is she not the cutest Minnie Mouse you've ever seen??

Uncle Nick was tickling Jayne and making her laugh. It was adorable!

I can't wait until we get Jayne and Payton together again! And next time I need to take more pictures... We took some but they were on my sister's phone and she sent them to me but I don't know how to get them onto the computer :( Lame.

Non-baby Related Post :)

Pretty much all I post is updates on Jayne... so I decided it was time to talk about Thomas and me! A little update on Thomas... He is still cleaning pools (3 days a week) and is working with his cousin, Stephen Moyer, for their video business- Vistalight Productions. It's a legit business now! Yay! They just did some videos for Kidtastic (pediatric dentist) and a video for Blockwatch.org. They are currently working hard at building up the business by getting good equipment and getting their name out there. As for me, nothing really new! I am no longer doing preschool because it got shut down because there was a flood (soooo sad!) which means I am a full time stay at home mom! I am thinking of maybe teaching piano lessons or something to help bring some money in. We'll see! But other than that I'm just having fun playing with Jayney girl!

Thomas and I have been on lots of fun dates lately! We feel so lucky to have parents who are always so happy to watch Jayne. It's so convenient to have them so close as well!
We bought Pogo Passes and have used them a couple times! They are SO AWESOME! Check out pogopass.com for more details... But basically it is good for a year and gets you in to a bunch of places for free! Some places you can go once or twice, or some places you can go a lot! Like for example we can go bowling once a week (2 games) for free! How awesome is that?! The National Comedy Theater is another place you can go with the passes. We went a few weeks ago. It was hilarious! I think we can go like 5 more times. I'm excited to go back! We also went to the Dinosaur Museum with our pogo pass like a month ago. It brought back memories of going there as a kid :) Here's some pictures of a few other fun dates we've been on.

The indoor batting cages! Super fun and so cheap!

Sometimes Jayne gets to tag along with us on dates :) This was at the Dinosaur Museum!

I need to take more pictures when we go on dates! Some other fun things we've done on dates:
*We love to walk around places... like Freestone Park or the mall
*Last weekend we did a double date with my best friend Courtney and her husband Dallin. They came over and we made pizza and watched The Social Network. So fun!

So Thomas likes to draw (and he's super good at it) and I like to color. When we get bored sometimes he will draw something and I'll color it :) haha I love it. It's so fun!
Oh my gosh the waffle truck is AMAZING!

This doesn't really have to do with anything, but we have knobs on our cupboards now! Yay!

I'm super excited for our date tonight! We're going to dinner then going to Skateland! haha (using our Pogo Pass!)
