October, November and December are definitely my favorite months! October is great because Thomas and I each have our birthdays, and also Halloween is way fun. It's been an awesome month! Here are some things we did this month...
I love all the new soda places. The Soda Shop, Fiiz, and now Sodalicious just opened.
Not sure if I've blogged about the My Child's Ready program.... So Jayne and Wes are both in this program funded by the state. The purpose of it is to get kids ready for kindergarten (they are in the program until age 5). Our parent educator is named Rossilyn. She comes to our house every other week for an hour and teaches us activities to do with Jayne and Wes! In this picture she was doing painting in a medicine dropper with her. For Wes we have made sensory bags for him to hold. Jayne loves having Rossilyn come over :) Oh and we get 2 new books (free) when she comes! It is AWESOME! I definitely recommend it to anyone with young kids!
Thomas and I took Jayne to The Rainforest Cafe! It was a lot of fun! We left Wes with my parents so we could just have time with her. She liked looking at the animals and eating her mac n cheese :)
I decorated the house a little bit for Halloween. My friend Lynne has a silhouette thing so we made bats, spiders, ghosts and witches.

Jayne loves her cousin Jason! These two are trouble together haha. They are so silly
The My Child's Ready program had an activity at Red Mountain Park! My mom came with me and helped with Wes, which was nice so I could play with Jayne! She had so much fun! And we won that little bike there!
Our ward did a daddy daughter dance! Thomas was so excited to take Jayne! Jayne was so excited to go with daddy! Thomas said she had so much fun. She ate a little bit of dinner, ate a whole cupcake and lots of punch, then dance and danced!
She made this little tiara there. So cute!
That night when we took it off we noticed that it stained her forehead hahaha
When we want to do something fun on the weekend and get out of the house but we don't know what to do, we usually walk around Target :)
Jayne colored in this big box for days! Best thing ever!
We got our free Red Robin burgers! Red Robin yummmmm
I don't know if I've posted about this. So Thomas and I watched an amazing video where a guy teaches you how to calm down babies. You hold them like this, kind sway them and "shh" in their ear. It's seriously magic. Thomas is SO good at it.

We went to Freestone Park and rode the train! Jayne LOVED it! And we played at their new park there! I need to go back. It was so awesome!
My niece Emery got baptized! I can't believe she is 8!
We went to the zoo! It was great! Jayne did so good and Wes did pretty good too. It was hilarious though because Jayne was more interested in little birds on the path than the other animals hahaha. She still to this day though talks about seeing the elephant's bum bum haha. She has such a good memory!
Thsi nightgown is my favorite! It's too long but I just love it!
