Update on our family :)

Things are going well with us! Thomas is so happy with his new job. He is doing videography full time! This is his dream. He has been obsessed with making videos since he was a little boy. He works for James Adams at Epic Light Media. James is a great guy and him and Thomas work so well together. His wife is Lynne and she is super nice and fun! We love hanging out with them! We play games with them a lot, and Lynne and I do play dates a lot (she has a little girl, Ella, who is the same age as Jayne). I am SO grateful and we feel so blessed that Thomas met James. I am loving seeing Thomas happy doing what he loves. He says he's not even working because he loves it so much that it doesn't seem like work. I am home with the kids enjoying life as a mother. I have had a lot of hard times lately with Jayne... Two year olds are TOUGH! But man... I love her so much. She is talking so well and learning every day. She cracks us up! Some things about Jayne...

*Still in diapers.... I've been trying to figure out when I will potty train her haha. I'm waiting until she really seems ready. I don't want to deal with a bunch of accidents. I know it's best to wait until they're really interested. We actually got her some underwear at the store the other day. She picked it out and was so excited! We will try soon I think. She's starting to get more interested and she thinks her new underwear is so fun.
*She's around 27 lbs, and I need to measure her to see her height! She is pretty tall for her age though
*Loves to sing... all day! She runs around and sings and I'm pretty sure she makes up songs because a lot of the time I have no idea what she's singing haha. But she also loves to sing songs from nursery like Slippery Fish, Jesus Said Love Everyone, Wheels on the Bus, Itsy Bitsy Spider... those are some of her favorites
*She basically knows all her letters! It depends on the mood she's in if she will tell them to you. The other day I went through and asked her all the letters one by one by writing them and she mixed up 2 and that's it! She has always been interested in letters. I've been trying to work on numbers with her but she's not really interested...
*She knows her colors and does a great job at sorting by color
*She is so fun to talk to haha. I love that she's old enough where I can pretty much have conversations with her. She understands a ton and can say hundreds of words
*Has a crazy good memory. She talks about things that were months ago and remembers small details. Also she is very good at noticing when things are different (like when we move something around the house)
*Loves her baby brother and is so sweet to him (when she chooses to be...) She loves to bring him toys and I love when she talks to him because she does a baby voice haha. She calls him "Baby Wessy"
*Loves to be with her cousins and friends (but not around too many people or she says "There's too much people!")
*Hates having to clean up her toys at night before bed... She will help though if she is bribed with m&m's haha
*Still sleeps in her crib! She climbed out one time like a few months ago but got kinda scared when she did it and hasn't done it since! She loves her crib!
*Sleeps from 8pm-7/8am for the most part and naps around 1 for about 2 hours
*Jayne is such a sweetheart. When we get upset with her almost always she says "I'm sorry mommy!" and comes and gives me a big hug.

Some things about Wes...
*He is 9 months old! Whaaaaaat! Time is flying!
*Size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes for the most part
*Has 8 teeth
*Sleeps from 7:30/8pm-7am usually and wakes up 1-2 times a night to nurse
*Takes about 2 naps a day
*He is such a happy boy! He LOVES just being on the floor playing with toys. He loves exploring all around the house
*Speaking of toys... usually he just plays with random things like cups haha. He doesn't really love any of his toys. He usually wants Jayne's stuff haha (which of course she freaks out about)
*He loves to watch his sister and other kids. His favorite place to be is around people
*Wes is a loud kid! He makes crazy noises and I can't stay in Sunday School with him because he is too distracting because he is so loud (happy noises haha).

Life is good. Life isn't perfect, there are always trials and challenges, but we try and always be grateful for what we have. We have each other, wonderful children, Thomas has a great job, I get to be home with the kids (which is hard... but I know that I am so lucky I get to be with them and I don't have to work), and we both have great families. We are so blessed.
