20 Weeks

Tomorrow I am 20 weeks pregnant! Halfway done already?? Insane. Oh and it is a BOY! We are so excited to welcome a sweet baby boy into the family :) I have been feeling pretty great! Second trimester is always nice... I was more sick at the beginning than with Jayne. I can't complain though. It was never too bad, and I only threw up twice. But I am glad to be over the nauseous feeling. Also good news is that I don't have gestational diabetes, at least so far! They tested for me earlier than normal with this one because I had it with Jayne. I will be tested for it again around 26 weeks or so. Hopefully I pass again then too! If not, then oh well. Whatever I need to do to have a healthy baby!

This picture is from yesterday :) I love his cute little face!
These were from the last ultrasound when we found out he was a boy!

I had to go buy a little boys outfit of course!
I told Jayne she was going to have a little brother and that was an outfit for him, and she said "aww!" and hugged it by her face haha.
My friend Jannae is so nice! She gave me this crocheted blanket that she made!
Welp here is what the belly looks like.

How far along: 20 weeks (tomorrow)
Size of Baby: About 6.5 in.

Maternity Clothes: Not really wearing any yet.... Except I can't wear normal jeans. I feel like he is so much lower than Jayne was. I haven't been able to wear normal jeans in a while. I can only wear jeggings that are stretchy and don't have a button. Even those are uncomfortable sometimes.
Weight gain: I don't keep track haha.
Stretch Marks: None so far (knock on wood). I didn't get any on my stomach with Jayne. Hopefully I'll get lucky again!
Sleep: Pretty good! I don't really ever have to wake up and pee in the night which is nice.
Best Moment of the Week: Yesterday having an ultrasound and getting to see him again!
Movement: Little kicks! I've been feeling them for a week or two now. Before that was just butterfly feelings. Thomas felt him kick the other day for the first time :) That was exciting! I feel like he doesn't move around as much as Jayne did. But maybe I'm just distracted by Jayne that I'm not paying as much attention haha.
Cravings: Not really having any cravings right now... At the beginning it was pickles and cereal.
What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach.... Except I'm not that big at all yet so I can kind of sleep in between being on my side and stomach.
What I am looking forward to: I'm changing doctors! I go to Valley Women for Women right now, and I went there with Jayne, but I'm switching to Dr. Huish. I've heard great things about him. I decided that I wanted to see someone regularly (at VWFW you sometimes see different doctors....I didn't even know the lady who delivered Jayne) and also Dr. Huish delivers at Banner Gateway which is closer to us. VWFW delivers at Mercy Gilbert which is a great hospital and I enjoyed it there when I had Jayne, but it's just further away so Gateway is more convenient. My first appointment with Huish will be the middle of March.
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Just some pain in my lower stomach from him pushing/my uterus expanding. Sometimes it's pretty painful!
Nursery: He will be sharing a room with Jayne once he is sleeping through the night.... But at the beginning he will be in our room for a while.
Emotions: Feeling good and excited to think about who he will look like... what he will act like.... :) And nervous because having a newborn and a toddler will not be that easy haha.

18 Months

Jayney bug is EIGHTEEN MONTHS! Ok seriously she just turned a year old... These 6 months have gone by so fast!

Some things about this crazy girl...
*She is OBSESSED with being outside. She constantly is saying "outside! outside! outside!" while standing by the front door
*She never says a word just once. She will probably at LEAST say it 4 times (it gets super annoying sometimes like last week at church she dropped something and said "uh oh!" at least 10 times in a row (super loud) before getting down and picking it up haha)
*LOVES to scream (this is her new thing) when she wants attention.... Like, suuuper loud scream. She thinks it's hilarious. Sometimes she will even cover her mouth when she does it because she knows I will cover it if she doesn't hahaha (smart girl)
*Loves to sing the ABC's! I think it's because of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. She says "A B C E E F Beeeeee"
*Loooooves to play with her cousins/follow them around
*I want to remember some of the words she says and how she says it: airplane (airbo), turtle, ball, mama, dada, papa, nana, apple, outside, eat, more, please, thank you, Jesus (Je Je), cheese, milk, water, shoe, poopy diaper (bobo), nigh night, blanket (beeee), cup (pup), help please (uppa uppa), show, Elmo, Santa, piano (pee), cookie (doodie), car (sar),banana (bada), oatmeal, book, and sings along to songs like for example she says "up and down" for the people on the bus. She tries to copy random words we say... sometimes it sounds nothing like it haha. Or she will just look at us and not try to say it. And she can kind of say her name... it sounds like "Deee" haha. Jayne is kinda hard for her to say.
*Started counting! She can say the numbers: one, two, three (free), four, five, and ten haha. Not in that order... She does know it goes one two though!
*Is obsessed with taking baths at grandma's house
*Tries to put on her shoes 100 times a day haha
*Likes to carry around pillows and lay her head on them randomly on the floor
*Loves her baby dolls and will give them lots of hugs
*Grabs our glasses off our face all the time and thinks it's so funny
*Loves to look at books
*Cries for no reason all the time... She gets frustrated when she doesn't know how to tell me what she wants
*Definitely throwing fits when she doesn't get what she wants
*Sleeps from 7:30 pm -7:30 am usually
*Takes one nap at about 12:30 and sleeps 1.5-2 hours usually. Some days are only an hour though.
*We are blessed to have a child who loves her sleep. She may not have the longest nap, but she goes down super easy. And she sleeps all night. She gets excited to go to bed haha. Our next kid will probably be opposite... oh dear.... haha. I gotta prepare for that.
*She started doing this recently and it's so naughty but hilarious... She will be doing something she isn't supposed to, while saying "no no no no!" haha

Superbowl Sunday with all her Crandell cousins. Lucky girl!

She loves baby Scarlett! Sometimes a little too much haha
She's a silly girl haha. She climbed in there herself and just hung out for a bit.
One of her favorite things to do is play outside in the sand at grandma's house!
Her outfit! Ahhhh it kills me.

Jayne and Payton wanted to play outside but it was raining
Sometimes when she wakes up she will just chill in her crib for like 30 minutes if I give her some books haha.

This was her face when we were watching airplanes taking off at the airport. She LOVED it!
No wonder she is so silly... ;)
She was so proud of herself for getting out all the water bottles and putting them on the chair. I love how she does the most random things!

 She loves her babies!

 Daddy's glasses :) haha
She does this where she randomly lays on the floor for a minute haha
I love morning cuddles in our bed with Jayney bug
Officially in nursery! Grandma and grandpa are the nursery leaders, so she has been going in for a few months now, but not the whole time and we always stay in there with her. Which was super nice! Now she's in there full time since she's 18 months :) It's so funny... I'll walk her in there and she just gets SO excited and runs to play with the toys. She doesn't even say bye to me haha. I'm so glad she loves nursery! It probably helps that grandma and grandpa are in there :)
Food stealer! haha this picture cracks me up
I don't even think I've blogged anything about my pregnancy! I'm 17 weeks! I think this picture was from a couple weeks ago. Not sure. I will hopefully find out the gender very soon! Maybe even next week :) I'm feeling great and things are going good! Little aches and pains from my stomach stretching, but no sickness at all anymore which is always nice.
Jayne will lift up my shirt to see my tummy and kiss my belly. I love this sweet girl!

Christmas 2014

We had such a wonderful Christmas! Jayne's favorite thing about Christmas I think with all the decorations was all the Santa's she saw! She says his name so clear. I love it! It's like one of the only words you can really understand when she says it. She also loved to point out Je-Je (Jesus). It's crazy how babies know who Jesus is... even if it's a picture of Him that they have never seen. Amazing. I love it. Christmas Eve we first went to my grandpa and grandma's to eat dinner. They always have Mexican food on Christmas Eve. It was so yummy! We were there for a little bit then all my siblings went to my parents house for our family party. First we did the nativity. Jayne was an angel! Haha her dress was so adorable. She didn't understand or care... She just wanted to go play! My nieces and nephews were so cute and loved to play the part.

Jayne clapped at the end haha. She looooves to clap.
I was dying... My nephew Ian dressed up like this and him and his little brother Jamison sang the song "Must be Santa" I think it's called. They did so good! Jamison especially got SO into it. Hahaha that kid is such a performer. It was hysterical!
Thomas played the piano and the kids danced around and sang along. Jayne was loving it!!! She clapped at the end of every song of course haha.
Santa came! And Jayne was SO SCARED! hahaha. From a distance she would say "Santa!" and point to him and seem happy, but I would try and get her close to him and she would cling onto my so hard and would not face him haha. Maybe next year she won't be scared...
We played outside and had a fire and s'mores :) Such a fun night. Jayne had a really short nap that day, so I was worried she would be cranky to stay up late, but it's like it didn't even phase her. Yay! She was distracted by all the fun we were having. Oh and we also did a gift exchange! Thomas and I got a calendar of the Gilbert Temple that my brother did (Brooks Crandell Photography) and a gift card to Red Robin :) Jayne got a puzzle, a sippy cup and a book!

Christmas morning!

Jayne doesn't know yet apparently that you are supposed to wake up early on Christmas ;) haha. Thomas and I woke up at 7 wide awake and she didn't wake up until almost 9. We opened our presents and waited for her to wake up and finally watched her open hers! She didn't really understand opening the presents... She was like I'm allowed to do this?? haha. We got her this light up ball thing, some blocks, a puzzle, and a toy camera. She liked them, but was more interested in our stuff haha.

My parents came by a little bit later to give Jayne her presents. They gave her this shopping cart and a little toy bus thing with some people. She LOVES the shopping cart! She has been pushing it around all the time since Christmas.
We went next door to my in-laws for lunch and to spend time with all the family on the Manning side. We did a gift exchange there with Thomas' siblings. We got another Red Robin gift card, Thomas got a rubik's cube and I got a necklace :) Jayne got this coloring book in the picture above with all the crayons. My niece made that fabric thing that all the crayons go in and it rolls up. So nice of her! Jayne loves coloring but lately she just tries to eat the crayons.
We look outside and we saw Sarah sitting out there happily eating a piece of pie off of this plate hahahaha
Jayne got some books from Thomas' parents! She loves them! His parents gave him this leatherman thing and gave me a Ninja blender! Holy crap I was not expecting that. I was super excited! (I've already made 2 smoothies with it that turned out so good!!!). Oh and my parents gave us a gift card that we can use at a bunch of different restaurants and 2 movie tickets! Woo hoo! So nice! I'm excited to use it. I think we are going to use it at Zinburger because I keep hearing how amazing their food is.

Oh I forgot to say what Thomas and I gave each other. He got me: some makeup stuff, a work out headband, an armband thing for my phone when I work out, an electric toothbrush, candy, a calendar, Battleship, slippers and some hair stuff! He spoiled me. I got him a few months subscription to the dvd Netflix where it sends you them in the mail, a chromecast, new hair clippers, socks, candy, Dr. Pepper, and I can't remember what else but I think there was more. Anyways... it was a fun Christmas!

Christmas came and went... So sad! I love this time of year. It's just so sad when it's over! Next year we will have 2 kids at Christmas... So crazy.
I am grateful for the Christmas season and the birth of Jesus Christ. I know He lives!

Baby #2!

Jayne is going to be a big sister! I am pregnant with baby #2 :) and we are so excited! Also very nervous haha. It will be tough! Especially at the beginning. But I think Jayne will love having a sibling, especially when the baby is old enough to play with her. We wanted to have two kind of close together and then we will wait at least 3 years before trying for another one.
I found out I was pregnant on November 7th. It happened super quickly. I knew I was pregnant pretty much right away. Seriously some pregnancy symptoms started so fast. I took a pregnancy test and was only 3 weeks pregnant but got a positive test result. I was shocked! Not that I was pregnant... because I really felt like I was. But shocked that I got a positive test that soon. So funny story. The first test I took was an $0.88 one from Walmart (Not the picture above). Super cheap. But people say those are accurate. It took a while to see the results but the line was faint and was a positive. Any sort of line even if faint means you are pregnant. It was just faint because I was barely pregnant. So then like 2 days later I wanted to take another test just to make sure.... just because I had one anyways. So it was the same cheap Walmart one. Well this one didn't work! It didn't even say not pregnant... It just wasn't valid. So I was like crap! I'm sure I'm pregnant because I got a positive before and getting false positives isn't very common... But I was still freaking out a little. The next day I went to Target and got a more expensive pregnancy test (pictured above) and got a positive right away. After that I was relieved and felt lots better haha.
The day I found out, it was in the early afternoon and Thomas was at work. I talked to him on the phone like right after pretty much but decided that I didn't want to tell him on the phone, I wanted to tell him in person. So I tried coming up with a creative idea to tell him... I ended up doing something simple though. I wrote on a paper "I'm going to be a big sister!" and had Jayne give it to him when he got home. It was so fun! We announced to my family a couple weeks later I think it was or maybe longer and made it "Facebook official" on Christmas Eve with our Christmas card. I have such a hard time keeping my mouth shut though, so lots of people already knew haha.

We are excited to have another baby in our family! I due July 19th (according to my calculations... I haven't gone to the doctor yet) so I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow :)

Halloween

A little late, but I forgot to post about Halloween! This year was more fun than last year because Jayne was a little older. She still is too young to understand what was going on really, so next year will probably be even more fun.
At first I wanted her to be a monster because I thought this costume was hilarious on her and it fits her personality hahaha. But it was hard to get on because it was too small, bummer.

This was a few days before Halloween. These are some (not all) of Jayne's cousins on the Manning side!

We decided to have Jayne be a lady bug! First because it was super easy... My mom already had it and it was just a jacket you put on. So easy to put on! Second we always call her our bug, so it made sense to dress her up as a lady bug :)

I love Halloween! I also love my ward. We have a Fall Festival every year (this year it was the Wednesday before Halloween) and everyone wears their costumes and they have a chili cook off, hot dogs, ice cream, a bounce house and other games. Jayne loved just running around exploring and looking around.

Payton was a cute little lady bug too!

 Halloween outfit!

Halloween night we went to my mom's and had Barro's pizza and then took Jayne trick-or-treating on their street! Jayne loves going for walks in the stroller, so she loved it of course. One person gave her a pinwheel thing and she had so much fun holding onto that. Thomas and I were excited to get all the candy hahaha. It was a great night!

After we left my parents we went to my grandparent's house to stop by so they could see Jayne :)
